For the beach and the sea
- Swimwear (two, to alternate) and a quick-dry towel for day trips
- High-factor sunscreen (ideally reef-safe) and aftersun
- Cap or hat and sunglasses

- Snorkel mask (the water is crystal clear) and a dry bag for the boat or kayak

What you do NOT need to bring
Save luggage: our apartments include the beach kit (umbrella, chairs, beach towels and a cool box), so don’t lug that along. The kitchen is equipped (coffee maker, utensils, etc.) and there’s a hairdryer, so no need for those either. Bed linen and bath towels are included.

Do you need water shoes in Mallorca?
In the south, highly recommended: many coves are rocky and there are Posidonia meadows. For sandy beaches (Es Trenc, Es Port) they’re not essential.
What sunscreen should I bring?
High factor (SPF 30-50), ideally reef-safe, plus a hat, sunglasses and aftersun. The southern sun is strong, especially at midday.
What plug type is used?
European, Type C/F, at 230 V. If you come from outside the EU (UK, US, etc.), bring an adapter.
Can you drink the tap water?
It’s drinkable, but hard and strong-tasting in the south; many people prefer bottled or filtered water for drinking.
